Weekly post

So recently I was scrolling through Instagram and I'm starting to notice more and more how much people record there lives. Especially with social media influencers, they put their whole lives out there. This one couple who are known as social media influencers just had a baby. As the girlfriend was going through labor pains the boyfriend was on Instagram live and had the camera all in her face. I thought about how much pain she must have been in and that fact that people from all over the world were now viewing her in that way. I know if I was going through that I wouldn't want anyone to see me except the people who are in the room with me and close family and friends. For such a joyful moment I felt like he was ruining it by being on social media. But I get from his standpoint they recorded her whole pregnancy and they chose to share that with the world and they wanted to give people an update on what is happening. Even though the labor of their child they recorded it and probably will upload it to their youtube channel with a few edits obviously.

I worry that about the child and the social media world they are bringing him or her into. They haven't yet revealed the babies face but I give it a couple of days before they do. I can't even imagine being in their footsteps because that is basically a life with no privacy. They record every aspect of their life and at a certain point I feel that they won't be able to tell the difference what they should or shouldn't record. But if that what makes them happy and makes them money who am I to say anything.
